MASTER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)(IT)
Programme:- The discipline of Business Administration in Information Technology is directed towards preparing students to work as system developers for business application, project leaders, marketing in IT Industries ,manufacturing ,services Govt., Organization ,Banks etc. The progrmme facilitates the students to prepare sound professional base for entry into rapidly growing information technology. The main thrust of this programme is to offer the knowledge of information technology with business administration inputs so as to enable the students to apply it for systems development for business and using IT for efficient management of operations. The Course also opens exciting avenues in the field of Marketing of IT, Project Leaders and entrepreurship in IT and IT enabled industries. The MBA (IT) programme is of two years duration comprising MBA (IT) Part-I (Semesters I & II) and MBA (IT) Part –II (Semesters III & IV).
Eligibility for admission:-A three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 45% marks in aggregate

Standard of Passing and Award of Class:
In order to pass examination (either MBA (IT) Part-i examination or Part-II examination), a candidate must secure minimum 50% marks in both the Semester-end examinations forming Part-i or Part-II, subject to securing minimum 40% marks in each indivisual course. If a candidate fails to obtain 50% marks in the entire Part-I or Part-II examination, then he must appear for not more than two papers in subsequent seating to pass the examination
