Objectives: The B.com degree is a combination of courses in the area of commercial sciences. The main objectives are to enable to develop the learners in intellectual persuit of knowledge of commercial sciences to understand methods and processes of commerce to inculcate in general study skills and habits and to expose to the areas of application of knowledge in commercial firms and industrial organization.
Duration: The B.Com degree programme is of 3 years duration, divided into B.Com-I i.e. First Year B.Com, B.Com-II i.e. Second Year B.Com and B.Com-III i.e. Third Year B.Com.
Eligibility for admission: A candidate who has passed HSC (10+2 level) (Commerce & Science) or equivalent Examination of any statutory Board or recognized University with English, as one of the passing subjects is eligible for admission to the B.Com programme in the First Year.
