The Exam Fees as per schedule of fees of the University should be paid separately. The said fee is to be sent directly through Bank Draft drawn in the name of "Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, School of Distance Education". |

The students are advised that they should be regularly in contact with the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University School of Distance Education for changes if any in the syllabus; dates of examinations etc. with a view to avoid inconvenience. |
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
After the detail study of the information brochure a student is expected to choose the course of his /her choice, similarly could also choose specialisation option, academic study annex where contact programme and University examination will be conducted after complete consideration of the information options. Generally change is not admissible unless the cause is genuine and if the change is warranted change is admissible only as per the below listed terms and conditions.
i. Change in Academic Study annexe: - In certain unavoidable circumstances candidate may apply for change in academic study centre. Candidate need to apply in appropriate form (available at respective academic study centre or downloaded from SDE's web site) with forwarding remarks from concerned Programme Director or Additional Programme Director. Candidate needs to enclose DD of Rs. 1000/- as administrative charges.
ii. Change in Examination annexe: - In certain unavoidable circumstances candidate may apply for change in examination centre. Candidate need to apply in appropriate form (available at respective academic study centre or downloaded from SDE's web site) with forwarding remarks from concerned Programme Director or Additional Programme Director, prior to commencement of examination. Candidate needs to enclose DD of Rs. 500/- as administrative charges.
iii. Change in Specialization: - In certain unavoidable circumstances candidate may apply for change in specialization of subjects. Candidate need to apply in appropriate form (available at respective academic study annexe or downloaded from SDE's web site) with forwarding remarks from concerned Programme Director or Additional Programme Director and final permission from the respective Dean of faculties. Candidate needs to enclose DD of Rs. 500/- as administrative charges.
iv. Change in Correspondence Address: - In certain unavoidable circumstances candidate may apply for a change in correspondence address. Candidate need to apply in appropriate form (available at respective academic study annexe or downloaded from SDE's web site) with forwarding remarks from concerned Programme Director or Additional Programme Director. Candidate needs to enclose DD of Rs. 100/- as administrative charges.
UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION SYSTEM
The University pattern of examination varies as per type of programme. For non professional programmes, there are annual examinations; and for professional programmes there are semester end examinations. The examinations are held twice in a year in the month of Nov. / Dec. and in May / June. The exact dates and the schedule of examinations are notified by the University well in advance. Due weightage is given to home assignments, tutorials and project work. The medium for curricular transactions and examination is English.
The details, such as rules of passing, award of class etc. have been incorporated in the concerned Programme Book.
