CRITERIA OF ADMISSION
1
A candidate must be of sound mind and must have completed 18years of age as on the date of admission.

A candidate after admission shall be treated as registered student of the University and will be governed by the rules and regulations made by the University.

The candidate after admission will be assigned to Academic Study Centre of his/her choice through which a student will get services such as Counselling, Library and Lab facilities. The internal evaluation and University exams will be conducted at that centre only. The Centre is allowed to arrange or rearrange the schedule for personal contact sessions/ seminars.

The University shall not be responsible for the loss of or the delay in the delivery of postal articles sent by them.
ADMISSION PROCESS
The information brochure (together with application form for admission) is available at Academic Centres at New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur and Karad.
For all programmes the candidate shall apply in the prescribed form attached with this brochure. The same can be downloaded from the University website. On verification of the eligibility for admission, the candidate will be informed about the selection. He/She will be asked to complete the eligibility requirement by sending following original documents for verification and return.

Passing Certificate of the Qualifying exam (either HSC or Bachelor's/Master's degree).

Statement of Marks at the Qualifying examination.

Migration Certificate (only for candidates passing Bachelor's / Master's degree from other Universities).

Jr. College Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate from the College last attended (for candidates seeking admission to degree programme only).

Character Certificate (for degree programmes only). After checking the original certificate, the student is finally registered and gets an Identity Card.
RULES RELATING TO PAYMENT AND REFUND OF FEES

The fees are to be paid by a Demand Draft / pay order drawn in favour of "Bharati Vidyapeeth University, School of Distance Education" on any Nationalised Bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd.

If a student submits his application for cancellation of admission in a prescribed form duly completed within
15 calendar days from the date of admission to that particular course, 10% of the total amount of tuition fees prescribed for the course will be deducted from the amount of tuition fees paid by him as administrative and other charges.

If a student submits his application for cancellation of admission in a prescribed form duly completed within 30 calendar days from the date of admission to that particular course 25% of the total amount of tuition fees prescribed for the course will be deducted from the amount of tuition fees paid by him as administrative and other charges.

The fees will not be refunded either in part or in full, if the student submits his application for cancellation of his admission after 30 calendar days from the date of admission to that course.
